Firm Overview

Dedicated to Creating and Maintaining Functional Families

Our Liberty, Missouri, law firm was founded in 1999 by attorney Larry V. Swall. A veteran family lawyer with over 19 years of experience. Mr. Swall saw a need for a family law firm that was dedicated to finding practical solutions to family conflicts, truly putting the needs of families and children first; and, a law firm that provided services to promote functional family systems. Attorney M. Andrew Roffmann, also a trained mediator, joined the firm one year later. Our newest lawyer, Michele R. Dunn, comes to us with fresh ideas and new approaches to client representation.

Putting Children First

Children are too often the helpless victims of difficult family relationships. Every member of our legal team is dedicated to protecting the rights of children to maintain good, healthy relationships with parents in family law matters, whether that be in the context of a divorce, a custody modification, or when unmarried parents must make decisions about custody and support. Our firm has a great deal of experience and a strong focus on resolving issues related to child custody and child support.

After studying family dynamics and family systems to learn how functional families operate, attorney Larry Swall helped start a family mediation program through the Family Support Division in Missouri – MARCH Mediation (Mediation Achieving Results for Children). Since its inception in 1999, MARCH has experienced tremendous success and growth. Mr. Swall continues to serve as its executive director.
